eGFR

Estimated glomerular filtration rate — a measure of kidney function.

Definition

eGFR estimates how many millilitres of blood the kidneys filter per minute, calculated from serum creatinine and demographics. Normal is above 90; under 60 for three months defines chronic kidney disease.
