CBC (Complete Blood Count)
A baseline blood test counting red cells, white cells, and platelets.
Definition
A CBC reports haemoglobin, red cell count, white cell count and differential, and platelets. It's the workhorse blood test — ordered for fatigue, infection, bleeding, and as part of almost every work-up.
